The candidate will be responsible for due diligence, preparation, processing, and execution of Global Structured Finance transactions. Structured Finance transactions include (but is not limited to) project finance, acquisition finance, asset-backed financing, corporate finance, loan syndications & distributions.
The candidate will act as the Transaction Officer who will be primarily responsible for ensuring timely and proper execution of Global Structured Finance transactions.
Main Responsibilities:- Timely and proper execution of Global Structured Finance transactions.
- Review, due diligence, and analysis of documents (including term sheets and facility agreements), financial statements, financial models, technical reports, and projections provided by Borrower.
- Preparation and negotiation of the term sheet.
- Preparation and review of financial model and projections.
- Preparation of internal management (greenlight memo) and credit memo, ensuring review of creditworthiness and establishing financial feasibility, including assessment of key risks.
- Support in negotiating and formalizing loan and security documentation, with internal and external legal counsel and other lenders.
- Preparation of loan distribution strategy and documentation (Teaser & Information Memorandum) for prospective lenders.
- Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth closing of transactions.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role with a bank or similar financial institution, including consultancies (e.g. EY, Deloitte, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office applications with a particular focus on MS Excel.
- Strong written and oral English. Working knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
