Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the housekeeping supervisors and room attendants
- Motivate, train, and supervise all Housekeeping colleagues
- Ensure that all relevant FHLSS standards are in place and followed
- Execute projects such as preventive maintenance, inventories, and productivity studies
- Respond to guest questions and needs professionally, timely and with a smile
- Handle guest complaints in a polite and professional manner
- Take ownership of any guest complaints and follow up on the service recovery
- Meet with guests in order to meet their expectations and to gather preferences
Requirements:
- Senior School qualification or equivalent is mandatory
- Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is beneficial
- A minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience on a supervisory/managerial level
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Able to coach, train and discipline colleagues
